Most listed groups today are in Brazil. We do not pretend Brazilian groups are local groups in other countries. Anyone can submit a group from anywhere.
What this directory is (and is not)
WhatsApp does not ship a public, searchable catalogue of groups. Invite links live in chats, Instagram bios, flyers and word of mouth. Grupos de WhatsApp (gruposdowpp.com.br) is an independent directory: people publish chat.whatsapp.com and whatsapp.com/channel links, we organise them by topic and, when the admin adds it, by Brazilian state or city.
The product started in Brazil because that is where our inventory, moderation workflow and audience are strongest. That honesty matters for international visitors. If you land here from Portugal, Mexico or the United States, you will still find thousands of active Brazilian communities — businesses, jobs, stickers, football, crypto, education — but you should not assume a São Paulo group is a Lisbon or Mexico City group.
We are expanding language hubs and country guides so speakers of English, Spanish and European Portuguese can learn how to find groups safely and how to list their own. The submission form is the same worldwide. If you run a community in Nairobi, Dublin, Miami or Luanda, you can add it.
How to find WhatsApp groups without guessing
Start with intent, not with a random invite. Decide whether you want a discussion group (everyone talks, up to 1,024 members), a channel (broadcast only, unlimited followers) or a community (several groups under one umbrella). Then pick a niche: jobs, language exchange, local classifieds, fandom, faith, sports, startups.
On this site, open Categories to scan topics, or go to Grupos, Canais and Comunidades for type-level landings. Use the group page to read the description before you tap Join. Expired invites are common on WhatsApp; we re-check links, but a group can still fill up or revoke the invite after we last verified it.
Outside Brazil, the best additional sources are still local: university associations, neighbourhood Facebook groups, Telegram channels that cross-post WhatsApp invites, and people you already trust. Treat unknown “get rich” or “secret jobs” links as spam until proven otherwise.

How to submit a group from any country
Open WhatsApp, go to the group, channel or community info and copy the invite link. On the Add page, paste that URL, write a specific title and a description in the language your members actually use. Mention the city or country in the text (“English practice — Lagos”, “hiking — Vancouver”) so people are not misled.
Do not list a Brazilian group as if it were a local group in another country. Do not buy or scrape invite links. Do not submit adult, scam, hate or illegal communities. We review submissions and drop dead or policy-breaking links.
After publishing, keep the invite alive. WhatsApp invite links can be reset; when you reset yours, come back and update the listing so new members are not sent to an error screen.
Safety basics that travel well
Public WhatsApp groups are public. Assume your phone number may be visible to admins and sometimes to other members. Never share one-time passwords, bank codes, seed phrases or copies of your ID because a stranger in a group asked. Housing, job and crypto scams recycle the same scripts in every language.
Prefer groups with written rules and active moderation. Leave the chat if the first messages are “send 50 invites”, fake giveaways or pressure to move money to an unknown wallet. Report abusive listings so we can remove them.

- The current catalogue is strongest in Brazil. Country pages such as Portugal or Mexico are guides, not fake local inventories. You can still submit a group from any country on the Add page.
- Is it free to add a WhatsApp group?
- Yes. Finding groups and submitting an invite link is free. Optional paid highlights exist for extra visibility; they are never required to appear in the directory.
- What languages do you support?
- The primary interface is Brazilian Portuguese. This English hub, a Spanish hub and a European Portuguese hub explain the product for international users. Descriptions can be written in the language of your community.
- How do I join a group from my phone?
- Open the group page, tap Join, and confirm in WhatsApp. You need the WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Web. If the invite is full or revoked, try another listing or ask the admin for a fresh link.
